Vickerman 6' Minnesota Pine Half Artificial Christmas Tree, Unlit

As I was about to replace yet another defective, pre-lit Christmas tree with the mantra: If one bulb goes out, the rest remain lit, I was intrigued by this non-lit, half tree option. Because of space constraints in my living room, I decided I would give this tree a try. The tree I purchased was the 6 foot model. There were several half trees I considered, but all of them were either too tall or too wide at the base for the space I had to fill. It was very easy to set up and the stand holds the tree very secure. The stem is bark-like looking and the branches are not overly full which, to some, might seem a little imperfect. But even real trees tend to have imperfections. While this tree might be considered sparse by some, I like the quaint, rustic look of the tree. I was impressed that I could add a lot of my larger ornaments, which camouflaged some of the holes in the tree. If you are looking for something a little fuller or a little less rustic, this tree might not be for you. All in all, I am very happy with the choice I made. And because it is half a tree, it takes half the time to set up and decorate and, most likely, half the time to dissemble, a plus for me!
