This is a nice tree. I'm only going to put lights on it which is why I shaped it so there are no obvious gaps. Anyone using ornaments can leave gaps the ornaments nestle in. The main limbs are very sturdy wire,maybe a quarter inch thick. Or a little less. And the lighter or decorative branches will easily hold ornaments also.  It is a tinsel tree and reflects light. I see it as more of an art project because it doesn't look like a natural (artificial,or "natural artificial) Christmas tree. I picked this one because it looked like it had a good enough shape in the photos. Because I do need it to be more full with no gaps I spent a few hours looking at it and adjusting it. Which also let the tinsel relax and spread out or fluff out from being smooshed in the box.  Initially I only put it on the stand and spread the branches out in a general tree shape. It can go outside. The base,which is flat,has a spike,about six inches long, that screws into the bottom and will hold it secure in the ground. The picture of the base that shows this tree looks like it is raised and rests on four corners. Because I'm only putting lights on and leaving no gaps,so it looks full, I decided which was the front of the tree and put all of my effort into making that have the best tree shape I could give it. And it's pretty good. Though it does have enough branches and tips so the back isn't all gapped and bare,but the back won't be seen and I'm not using ornaments. Anyone using ornaments can have a full,nice looking tree on all sides.
