Ease and simplicity with power and economy.

I picked up my two generators and ordered the parallel kit. When I started unpacking them I noticed they were very well packaged in cardboard that was very strong and a lot of interior padding. Setting up the two units was very quick and simple with the included oil in the exact amount, and with a funnel. I have only run them on propane and plan to only run them on propane to avoid the carburator issues in the future from old gas as these will only be run occasionally for camping and emergencies. Each one started easily once i read more carefully about using the choke on propane as well as gasoline. I ran the independently and applied load which they responded to very well, then paralleled them and again use a bigger load which had equally good results and performance. The economy of having two smaller units that can be paralleled for more power when needed is a great economy for base loading and the parallel kit for those times you need AC or more power for other purposes. I plan to alternate running these units to keep the wear uniform and extend their functional lifespan. Definately recommend buying this unit, or two of them if the need is there.

Great Little Machine

My first Champion and it runs like a top. I use it for backup-backup to charge my battery power station. Did a test run and it did a great job of charging them . Has plenty of power. Bought one for my daughter who lives in Augusta GA for the next storm

Pluses: Starts right up when needed (like after a hurricane). Reasonable cost. Minuses: The CO cutoff is a bit sensitive, so aim the exhaust downwind. Each outlet is only 10A (though I pulled 12.5A for hours without trouble). I'd definitely buy another.
