PetSafe Pawz Away Extra Receiver Collar for Cats and Dogs over 5 lb., Add Additional Pets

We have two curious cats who are quite intrigued with the idea of using the doggie door because they see their Great Pyrenees friend go in and out. Outdoors is not a safe place to be, unsupervised. These collars and the sensor disk are lifesavers. Literally.

Using this and the barrier is amazing, if you're using it properly. I have a cat who has been urinating inappropriately since I've gotten her, and she was around 2 months old, she's currently 9. She has been peeing on bedding, beds, clothing, out of spite/when she's upset or if the litter boxes aren't absolutely pristine. Since getting this collar (originally bought separately because I didn't think that the one that came with the barrier didn't work, turns out it just needed new barriers, but I misplaced that collar) she had done a full 180. She has stopped inappropriately peeing, has started self soothing, and spending more time with the family/pets, using the litter boxes appropriately, and been much more comfortable. She's always been very affectionate, and now, even moreso. She's had no irritation, or missing hair around her neck. When the collar is used appropriately, and there's proper space, there should be no issues. I can't wait to get another one in order to help my other rescue who started inappropriately peeing.
