I could not find a better net for this price.

The wood frame is kind of light, but I don't plan on landing any monster fish in a net with a 15" opening. The netting is nylon and looks like it should hold up really well. You can buy a better net, but you will pay at least triple the price of this one.

It will work, but not for long.

The wooden frame is very lightly constructed, but otherwise OK. The net itself, however, is not woven nylon mesh, but a very flimsy mesh-like fabric that appears to be cotton. I didn't have high expectations for a $15 net, but I expected a bit more than what I ultimately received. Fortunately, it was intended as a "loaner" for a one-day fishing club outing with some college students, so if it lasts the day, I'll be happy. I'll look into getting some replacement woven netting to replace what came with it after the trip. For just a few dollars more, you can buy a much nicer product elsewhere.
