"For Those Who Cry Wolf" is a colorful collection of poetry and prose that speaks to and for the unspoken; a collection for those who fight to 'speak up' only to have their concerns dismissed as false alarms. The collection is broken into three parts, each of which illustrates real life crises that are all too familiar and present within today's society.Each section involves personal and shared experiences that draw attention to the notion that, perhaps, sometimes, the wolf is the problem and not every cry is constructed for attention. Through this work, the author hopes that those who were 'silenced' can find comfort in knowing that, someone hears them. It is also his hope that, those who silence, whether consciously or unconsciously, can listen to understand as opposed to listening only to blame and dismiss. Through this work, he is hopeful that we can further a dialogue that encourages empathy, compassion and change.
