after shopping around, comparing, this was a good choice. being larger than what I needed..it has decreased the humidity in my basement from 85% down to 35% and now maintains at 45% using present basement setting. runs quiet and shuts down when set humidity level is reached. having the ability to produce almost 12 gallon of water a day, the hose outlet would be most preferable, therefore needing a drain or condensation pump, which i use my a/c condensation pump. and yes, much better environment in basement, and house too....

Best dehumidifier I have ever owned. Have went through three of them in my crawl space-and rarely get more than a year plus out of them. Put this 95 pint dehumidifier and let it run continuously on high for 4 days (Manual says 3). It pushed a heck of a bunch of water out from under my house. (I have a pump that pushes it outside onto the yard). On the 4th day, went under the house and it had brought the humidity down to 35%. I never had been able to do that before. Reset it to the basement mode (45%) and left it. Unit is much quieter than the 75 pint Frigidaire it replaced. Unit is located just under the living room floor. Can hardly notice it, when it is running. If it will only last longer than a year. Highly recommend it if you want to reduce the humidity. Cost is high-but it is worth it.
