Bad odor !!

Arrived in plastic bags, ok. When I opened it had such a chemical smell of garlic and onions. I washed and washed it . Hoping the odor would go away. It did not go away. The smell was so intense it made my kitchen smell like 'body odor' . I was extremely upset. The grapes were cute but, the odor was so disgusting I had to throw away all 4 of them. What the heck was that smell ?
