Wonderfully endearing that you can't help but want

In this time where everyone and their mother, Martha, is trying to be "dark and gritty" it's refreshing to see a more lighthearted story which still brings the drama. For a youngster just trying to find her place in the world, Patience Fell is remarkably level-headed given the strangeness she encounters. Kind and inquisitive with a strong work ethic, she really is a great character. Just don't get on her wrong side as she handles a mean broom. I highly recommend this story and can't wait for the next book!
