this is a very good litter box additive for odor reduction, especially from urine, I use about two or three tablespoons scattered in the box before adding about an inch of inexpensive ( oil dry) to the box this has completely absorbed the overnight fermented smell that even store bought litter and odor eliminator did not work on. this is a five cat litter box that is completely cleaned once or twice a day, the overnight , late in the day smell is gone. the price is the best I've found and the pellets minimize the dust some carbon or charcoal would have
