Surprisingly high quality...solid wood!

I usually don't write reviews, but I was so pleasantly surprised by this table that I wanted to share. Given the comparatively low price and the fact that it came from Walmart, I was skeptical that it would be cheap quality or have a tacky veneer finish or something. But this is solid wood! It is unfinished, so my father-in-law recommended that we stain and/or seal it eventually to protect the surface. But even he said he was impressed at the quality as he was assembling it for us, and he is rather picky with these things. :)

This is really a lovely piece of furniture. The first one we ordered arrived with a broken piece on the end and no assembly instructions. We returned it to the store - were in and and out in less than 7 minutes! The re-ordered table came in less than a week in perfect condition. We like it very much!

Great table for DIY Paint or Varnish

Love this table! It was very easy to put together. I stained with a light stain and varnished all the pieces before putting it together, then used more decorative knobs. It is a completely unfinished piece and will need at least a protective varnish, which is why the price is so good. I'm using mine in a store display.
