Hayward W560 Leaf Canister with Extra-large Basket and Easy Open Lid

I purchased this Leaf Canister when opening our pool as the winter cover failed at a seam and the pool was littered with leaves and other things that had blown in. The basket on this canister is approximately double the size of the basket in our pump and allows me to run the cleaner much longer between clean-outs. Once I had the leaves picked up I added a skimmer sock to the canister basket and filtered down the smaller debris and this has really helped with extending time between filter cleanings. The unit is perfect sized to clean our pool (30' round) and feels sturdy and well built. Shipping was very quick and I have never bought anything from VM Innovations that I was not very pleased with.

I was tired of buying pool leaf catchers that were impossible to open. This Hayward opens with very little force. I will order another one in a few months to keep on the shelf.
