Love love love this! Best stainless cookware ever.

I grew up with the good old Revere Ware that is no longer made, mine was made in California and Illinois. Most of it is gone now so I needed new stainless. I even spent thousands on Creuset first, (don't do it!) but Creuset is heavy and dried out my food. I decided to try All-Clad. **Note: I've been an avid cook for over 40 years. I was excited to get my All-Clad Dutch oven. I haven't had a stainless Dutch oven since we lost our home in 2023. So this was an exciting event. The first chicken I roasted in my new All-Clad Dutch oven turned out amazing!!! The tops of the drumsticks were still moist and succulent; the breast meat was tender and moist. And I even overcooked it by accident. I have since made more chickens and every one turns out moist and succulent, no more dried drumsticks, or dry breast meat. And I don't baste. I simply put a plain chicken in, add a little water, and roast it. The pan does the rest! If I get a chance I will buy a second one as backup, because I also love to make soup. The pain is not heavy to lift, which is really nice; it's a gorgeous pot. I love the shape and style. Oh, and you must know that pouring broth from this Dutch oven is sooo nice! It never drips down the side. I pour it right from the pot into the strainer, no mess!!! I have since ordered a few other pieces of All-Clad. The roaster is amazing, too! It's made in my home state, and it truly is the best stainless cookware you will find today! Highly recommended from a seasoned cook who was almost a chef.

Dutch Oven Ease

Years ago, I had bought an enameled Dutch oven, and it was so heavy, that it discouraged me from using it. I bought this one, as all my other cookware is All-Clad, and found exactly what I was looking for: light weight, a perfect size for a small family, and it made a terrific pot roast for a Sunday dinner with easy clean up. I can't wait to use it again.

The shape invites you to peek inside

This a beautiful and versatile pot. It is a joy to hold and the shape invites you to lift the lid! I do find the base area is much smaller than I anticipated due to the curve of the sides. It is not ideal for browning meat and vegetables for stews.
