Quality Product so far

The light is energy efficient and plenty bright for my 18x36 inground. The light appears to be solid steel and glass construction. I have tried LED lights from other manufacturers that did not last more than 2 years, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that Pentair is a quality product that will last. One season down with no problems. Second season will start in May. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Same brightness, less money

I replaced a 25 year old 500 watt incandescent with the pentair intellibright light. It is tricky to pull the cord through the underground conduit, but with one person pulling and one in the pool feeding the cable, we did it. I was very pleased with it for 11 months. Then it started flickering. The tech support person at pentair was AMAZING, and worked with me. He sent me a replacement circuit board which I pulled the light out and installed, then it worked fine again. My suggestion to Pentair is that since this is less amps, they could have had a smaller cable instead of being the same diameter as the original. That would have made pulling the cable a little easier. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The long you can use it

Always remember is a LED means eventually you need to change again, depending how long you're using it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
