The Hayward Pro Series sand filter system is designed for quick assembly and precise alignment of system components. The Hayward 18-Inch 1 HP Pro-Series Sand Filter Pump provides maximum flow energy efficiency and outstanding water clarity. The filter base is molded of rugged thermoplastic for long-lasting, all-weather performance. The pump features 7-position Vari-Flo valve that provides maximum flow at low pressure drop. The pressure sand and water drain is large for quick winterization or service.

The product and Doheny's are great! Now for FedEx that is another issue! They must just literally load trucks by throwing things because everything they deliver the box is always damaged! The first pump came damaged! Thank you to Doheny's for sending out a replacement right away! But again that box came damaged as well but the pump was still good!

Love Turn-a-Round time Once Purchased and Delivery
I'm actually using this on my 24' Octagon 4' deep pool. My return is only 5' from pump. Pretty simple to install. Takes a little longer to prime pump versus an above ground pool but no issues. Was missing the glass bulb used when backwashing pool but Doheny sent new one at no charge. My old sand filter had a bottom and top half. Top half come off which made sand much easier to change versus new filter which I'm being told has to be cleaned using shop vac. Not going to like that. I hope this filter last over 30 years like my last one, but I doubt it. LOL
