Product details
Abilitations Weighted Vest offers additional input to the muscles and joints, giving more information to the proprioceptive system. It can be used for children having autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder, ADHD and other neurological challenges as they react well to weight or pressure. Machine washable vest is made of long lasting and comfortable flame-retardant polyester material. It lets the therapist or caregiver choose the distribution as well as amount of weight for 1 child or many by utilizing the 8 internal pockets that line the front, back and sides. Vest features hook and loop closures at the shoulders, sides to provide comfortable placement and adjustment. It avoids unwanted adjustment or removal with the side closures around back. It has additional fabric at the side closure that overlaps to make room for growth.
