Did not function as desired

I got these for the hallway and closet , they are rechargeable which was nice and when I got them they seemed bright. Here is the downside there are no direction and it seems they have a button with three modes, 1. off (no light at all) 2. Always on (left them alone for several minutes did not turn off, put them in full sunlight also still stayed on) 3. Sensor (detects movement will turn on till it no longer detects anything and will shut off after about 20 seconds) I spent awhile testing them and it seems the sensor did not really work, I had to wave my hand less than an inch around the device for it to detect motion. This is less than idea for what I intended and don't really want something I need to touch for this particular case.
