Looked nicer than the plastic models but now I wish it did have a see through cover The first time I made hard boiled eggs- pefect! The next two times, two eggs exploded. I did the same method and water level as the first time. But I really love the poached egg feature, thats been great. And...did I mention it looks very nice?

This is my second egg cooker from Hamilton Beach. Liked their product and ordered a new replacement. One feature I like is a metal tray for poached eggs. Also appreciate the number of poached eggs it will cook at one time ..3. Expect many more years of using this cooker.
