    medium-large, but hard to swallow

    I chose Windmill Calcium without vitamin D, because I need to take massive amounts of calcium daily to maintain blood calcium level, and I don't want to overdose on vitamin D in the process. I like that it is pure calcium, and I like that it is calcium carbonate (it would take at least four calcium citrate to provide the same pure calcium). I like that it is a big but not humungous pill. I take slightly larger pills daily, with no trouble. But I do NOT like the way this pill hangs up in my throat , often causing me to gag. I deduce that this is caused by the coating, or lack of coating.
