OVERVIEW
The Atturo AZ850 is a high performance summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model has some light truck, highway terrain sizes. This model is EV-Ready, meaning these tires are compatible with both electric and traditional gas-powered vehicles.
The tire promotes exceptional summer weather traction. The dual zone asymmetric tread design enhances the dry and wet weather road gripping ability. The tread is split up into a dry and wet zone that corresponds with the weather in which they improve the tire's performance. The dry area enhances the dry weather high speed performance with better road grip, while the wet area actively disperses water from the footprint with the circumferential and lateral grooves to resist hydroplaning. The model, however, is not meant to be used in winter weather as the compound loses its flexibility in colder temperatures.
The maintained road contact enhances the model's controllability. The tread design's solid center rib boosts the steering responsiveness and driving stability. They are further enhanced with the internal structure's jointless nylon band construction as it prevents the tire from deforming during the drive. This way, the steering is faster and more precise in its responsiveness, while the tire's structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it. The high bead filler and the outer tread area's integrity and stronger block rigidity ensure a safer cornering and maneuvering ability. They increase the number of biting edges that grip the road surface and promote a secure performance.
The special tire compound and tread pattern prevent heat buildup on the tire's surface. They evenly distribute the driving pressure across the tread area and successfully dissipate the built-up heat. This lowers the model's rolling resistance significantly. The rolling resistance is the force affecting the tires that determines how much energy the vehicle needs to maintain the tire's motion. The lower the rolling resistance is, the less fuel the vehicle consumes. The decreased fuel consumption reduces the CO2 emissions as well, which makes the model both fuel efficient and environmentally friendly.
The optimized tire shape improves the high speed performance. The high bead filler, jointless bead wire, jointless nylon band and high tensile steel belts strengthen the tire against the driving pressure affecting it during high speed performances. These enhancements maintain the tire's optimal shape during high speed driving and allow the model to perform to its highest capabilities in summer weather.
The AZ850 also guarantees a quiet driving experience. The inner tread area features fine sliced sipes that prevent the airwaves from entering the tire's footprint. As the airwaves do not come into contact with the tread elements, the road noise is not generated while the tires are in motion. This decreases the road noise generated while the tires are in motion, promoting a comfortable high speed drive.
