Very tight tops, not good!

I have worn this model of this brand of socks every day for years and love them. My supply was getting low, so I thought I would buy more. The price was good, and they were delivered quickly. When I went to try them on though, the tops were woven so narrow and tightly that I can't get them over my heel to put them on. Somehow, they have changed the way that the tops are woven on this model. After about ten years of wearing these socks, it looks like I'm done, and I ended up giving them to my wife. They're a little big on her, but at least she can get them on.
