Replacement lids were a great buy

These lids are identical to the original lids for a set of Pyrex bowls. After many years of use, the original lids that came with the glass bowls were showing signs of wear and cracking. The glass bowls were still perfectly fine and these replacement lids fit perfectly on them. It was much less expensive to replace the lids than the entire set of bowls. This was a great buy!

They seal perfectly and easy to clean ! I had a pyrex bowl that I lost the lid to so needed a replacement and this one was the right size. They are a little pricey but was worth it to me.

Peace- at least for awhile

Even if we never use these lids, they will restore peace and harmony in our marriage. My husband can NEVER find the lid he wants for our Pyrex bowl that he is is trying to put away. This leads to an operatic rant about missing lids and the inequity of it all. So, I purchased these in hopes that the distinctive colors will help him find his lids. Seriously, I have never understood how things like lids, socks and other necessary small items can migrate into a parallel universe, never to be found again. With any luck it will be at least six months before the great "where the **** is the ****** lid for this bowl" begins again. Thank you Pyrex for 6 months of no ranting, at least about lids. Really, he is a great guy and very sweet, and he knows I am writing this. After 50+ years, he knows I love him dearly.
