Husband LOVES these shoes!

Husband has a wide forefoot and Mortons toe...so can't wear the skinny runner shoes. He wears a 10.5 W or 11 in most running shoes...this one he had to take an 11. He loves these better than previous versions. He's actually been running more since he likes the shoes so much! Thanks, Altra!!! I may have to grab a pair myself for work!

On my 3rd pair, amazing shoes

I bought my first pair of Torins in March when I signed up for the JFK 50 miler. 3 pairs later and scratching JFK bc of Covid, I ran 50 in them yesterday around my town. Absolutely ZERO foot issues, no blisters, no real swelling, I will never run in another brand.

Incredible upgrade

I've been using Torins for about 4 years now and this is the best version yet. I use them for my weekly long runs on the streets, light trail running, ultra marathons, and even for a 16 hour ultra endurance event. The last version sat higher on the ankle and required me to have taller socks so I wouldn't have rubbing against my achilles. This version returned to the regular ankle height. The fabric construction does a better job of breathing and drying than past versions. Finally, and best of all, this version has the best traction to date. I live in a city and do almost exclusively road running, but that still means there is snow, ice, mud, and other variables to contend with. Previous Torin versions had no traction and could be slippery if I encountered anything. The subtle tread on this version gives me the grip I need for anything other than a hardcore trail, but also isn't uncomfortable for miles of pounding on the road. LOVE them!
