First day we received this clock it alerted us about the TS Hermine. Alarm sound plus the three stage lighting warning and with a message alert. Very handy in homes where storms can have disastrous effect.

First Alert Weather Radio

This is my second purchase. I bought one for my Kentucky home, and liked it so well that I purchased one for my Florida home. It has the feature that you can only get alerts for the counties that you want, and for the types of weather that you want. When there is a warning, the top of the radio lights up in red. I had a little problem setting up all the features, but there is a phone number that you can call for help. The good news is that there is a battery back up, so once you get the radio set up you will not loose your info in a power failure. And you can still get your weather is case there is an outage. I am 100% pleased and would recommend this to everyone.
