I first used one of these simple devices 30 years ago when I became a Bunn certified equipment technician. It was my job to take care of hundreds of commercial coffee and tea machines in an area that is known for hard water with horrible lime and calcium buildup. These deliming springs saved me countless hours of work disassembling coffee and tea machines on site. They're the perfect length and width to clean the tubes that carry the water from the coffee machine tank to the coffee basket. Simply remove the spray head and run this spring up through the hole to delime the tube and keep the machine making a pot of coffee in less than two minutes in a commercial environment. I'm sure it sounds basic and trivial to anyone that isn't responsible for keeping those machines running. I haven't seen or needed one for thirty years. I started doing some work for local restaurants last year and I was shocked to find that I could purchase one through Walmart as a Walmart member. If you aren't a Walmart member then you have no idea what you're missing out on. I don't hesitate to search Walmart online everyday for items that are so specialized and specific that a lot of people don't even know that these items exist, however, Walmart does. You wouldn't believe some of the things I buy and Walmart hasn't let me down so far. Thanks Walmart!
