Not only is this a beautiful set, but it delivers. Smooth sharp cutting. I love the addition of bird beak paring knife. I primarily use the Santuko, probably my favorite all purpose knife but I use all of these daily! I chose this set because I wanted knifes that were a one piece design. No plastic handles that crack. No wood to rot. They are dishwasher safe, however I hand wash mine and hand dry to keep them looking pristine, as I have very hard water. You will not be disappointed with this set.
