PenAgain, BAU00073, Twist 'n Write Pencil 2-Pack, 2 / Pack

My daughter started using these pencils in preschool and she calls them "rocket pencils" because they kind of look like a little rocket ship. I think they are also called wishbone pencils. Her handwriting is remarkably legible for a 5 yr. old when she uses these pencils as opposed to a regular one. They are designed to help teach a child how to comfortably and properly hold a writing utensil and they have done wonders for my child. She used to get frustrated and "give up" trying to write with regular pencils so using these instead has boosted her confidence and given her the desire to write more. They were a little hard to twist open at first and I thought they were defective, but I think they are designed that way as a safety precaution because the pencil leads are very sharp when they are first used. It's also nice not to have to sharpen pencils since these twist up to expose the lead. I'm not sure how long they will last but refills can be purchased separately which will probably be the next thing I order. Love Walmart and Ship-to-Store for free option. They beat everyone else's prices!

After I had my stroke I couldn't write any thing cuz I am right handed. I saw this and decided to try it. I use it left handed and I can write again. Thank you.
