This film was so fun to make and I'm very honored to have been a small piece of Kentucky movie history about the infamous William "Dummy" Hoy (I played a background extra). This is a very family friendly film with laughs, cries, and sad moments but all that tied together makes for a heck of a movie. You will not be disappointed, guaranteed.

Hurrah for Dummy Hoy!

I am prejudiced about this film as our son is one of the directors. He has spent more than half his life researching facts about Dummy Hoy and has collected information that others have ignored. His goal is to have Dummy Hoy inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame; however, those who vote don't seem to consider him. After all, he was deaf and is now dead.
