I bought this for a friend of mine who has dementia. It's unbelievable to watch someone who can't remember a thought long enough to finish a story sing every word to and have an understanding to the songs they learned growing up. Her husband had led the worship team since he was 17 years old and I can imagine the two of them singing melodies to the Lord now as an audience of two! 🥰

Love this cd...

This cd is an excellent choice for anyone looking for chorale hymns. The only drawback is that almost all of the songs are condensed and are not the full hymns. Other than that, I love it.

Great gift

This is a fantastic C.D. of over fifty well known hymns. They are all well performed. Most of them are with orchestra accomopaniment. There are two different choirs represented. The choir that performs almost all of the pieces is flawless with perfect phrasing, intonation, etc. The other choir, which has only about five pieces is not quite as good but is still excellent. There are 2 C.D.'s included with a wide variety of wonderful hymns that will bring back great memories to all who have heard and sung them.
