I've had this grill for almost 15 years and it still works great. I'm planning to get a replacement and give the old one to my daughter. You fill the bottom pan with a little water to catch the drippings and prevent a flame-up. The top has a grill section and a flat griddle section which I ALWAYS spray with Pam before use. The lower pan unscrews from the base for clean up. If you lightly spray the pan and grill with Pam after clean up it won't rust during storage. a canister of propane lasts a long time too if properly assembled and turned off when cooking is done.
