A Great Kitchen Set
This kitchen set has it all, even a whisk, magnet clips, and a sturdy ceramic holder to keep your cooking utensils at close reach. I needed new cooking tools because I was grossed out with what I had; this offered everything I needed and then some. I've washed the tools in the dishwasher (that is, those that are dishwasher safe) and they were perfect, no distortion. Furthermore, no burning or synthetic smells while cooking with them or tasting directly from them, which has been a major problem for me with other cooking utensils. I'm quite pleased.

Awesome starter set
What a great starter set. Farberware hit the nail on the head with this set. Are you looking for a wedding gift? This is it. This set covers a little bit of everything you need in the kitchen. I was originally a little concerned with the quality of craftsmanship when I first opened the box. I am very happy to report there is nothing cheesy about this product. The kitchen shears are solidly made with a great blade. The wooden spoons are light weight and I haven’t been able to stain them yet. The fridge clip/magnets are made with good springs and a decent magnet. I think my favorite piece is the whisk. The whisk is not flimsy at all, the handle is well made and I was unable to bend it at all. The can opener works beautifully as does the peeler and wine bottle opener. I accidentally set the spoon rest on a still hot burner and no problem; it didn’t harm it in the least. The silicone spatula is heat resistant to 500 degrees, which is great because I use mine in hot skillets constantly. In short, I love this set. This is a great addition to my kitchen and would be great for anyone just starting out.
