Gibson Home Fruitful Harvest Grapes 16pc Dinnerware Set

I've been looking at the same tired old plates for too long and decided it was time for me to get something new and colorful. We know when our food looks better we're more satisfied with it, this dinnerware will make the most boring and basic meals look better. When I saw this dinnerware set I loved the colors, they are attractive and I feel they fit my personality. I basically chose this set because of the beautiful hand painted design and the bright colors. I didn't realize until I opened the box how big they are. I took a pic of the dinnerware on my stove top so you could get a good perspective of their size. The dinner plate is a pretty good size so it can handle a steak and backed potato or Thanksgiving dinner. The salad plate is big enough that I can easily use it for smaller meals and it's a perfect sandwich size. The bow is great, I like that it's deep and holds just the right amount of breakfast cereal, or a very healthy serving of hot soup. So many times the bowl you get with dinnerware is wide and shallow it spills easily and the soup gets cold quickly. Soup in a deep bowl stays hot down to the last drop. I also really like the coffee cups, they hold a little more than 10oz. and they have a very comfortable handle for my fat fingers. Maybe it's my imagination but it seems like my coffee stays hot longer in these cups than my old ones. This dinnerware is microwave and dishwasher safe that's also a big plus, I did not want something I couldn't microwave. The plate did not get really hot in the microwave like some plates do. These plates seem strong but they aren't bulky, they have a nice sleek look and they aren't too heavy. I am really happy with this set of dinnerware, my only complaint is that I didn't order 2 sets but I will be buying another set so I will have enough to use for bigger dinner parties. These are nice enough to serve to guests but sturdy enough to use everyday. I feel like the price can't be beaten considering they're hand painted, it makes them look richer and more elegant.
