Only for walking on with shoes.
It's a beautiful rug, but absolutely not functional. It is Jute and I was not familiar with this before as I am now. Thousands of little bristles stick in your socks and into pants if you sit down on it. I'm a dancer and with just 2 routines, it was coming unravelled. Also, although I didn't mind this, it has a beige appearance, but the deeper braids are light pink and lavender, just so you know.
