It is small and not as realistic, As the one I got last year but that one only lasted about 3 months and stoped working. So I purchased this one thinking it would be the same but you cannot adjust the flame brightness and the door doesn’t open but it is very cute. Very Halloweenie . It will work for a small room but I probably should have spent more money for a better version. Hopefully it won’t burn out. It is cute !

hate that it is made of plastic, but love the fireplace affect. arrived quickly and just in time as Deland, Florida is going to get some cold and possibly freezing weather in couple days. my dogs just really enjoy laying in front of faux fireplace with out heat. but I am sure they will really appreciate the heat soon. I have several medical issues and I freeze even when it is hot. Raynaud's where my fingers get really cold. of course still have to have fan on so room doesn't get stuffy. will update after weather gets cold. we had brutal winter in 2024 right into Hottest summer heat index in 112. so I figure we are going to have another brutal winter this year. I am 74 and sort of dress like it is winter all the time. I have decided the heat is worse than the cold. just wish things were made of metal instead of plastic. actually ordered black bathroom faucet and new filtered shower head with filter but both were also plastic.
