Photos! Music! Movies! Oh My!

I love this 128 GB flash drive! I am so lazy about downloading my old photos from the cloud, and then printing them out on my (ancient) PC-connected printer. Using this, I have been able to download ALL of them, and used up only 1 GB on it. So then I decided to download my music as well, which equaled 236 songs. That used up only 3 GB. Which means when I travel, I will still have over 120 GB to use for movies & tv shows. No complaints about this awesome product!

A good storage device

This PNY USB drive is a USB 3.1 device with dual connectivity. It has two connectors: one end is the USB plug, and the other end is a type C plug for Android mobile devices. When the drive is not being used, both plugs can be retracted inside the body of the drive. The capacity is 64 GB. USB 3.1 is backward compatible with USB 2.0. The drive can be used with all versions of Windows from Windows XP up. My desktop computer has an i7 CPU, but it is several years old. It has only USB 2.0 ports. My new laptop has only USB 3.0 ports. I plugged the drive into my desktop, and I copied my whole library of songs (over 4000) from the hard drive to the USB drive. The whole library takes up only 12 GB space of the 64 GB total capacity. The whole process took over 60 minutes. That is a little slow, but few people have to move lots of files at one time. The manufacturer claims that USB 3.0 is ten times faster than USB 2.0, if both the drive and the port are 3.0. I shall take their word for it. I do not have a computer that has both USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports. So, I cannot do a scientific comparison right now. Also I have an iPhone, and so I cannot test the other connector either. There is still a lot of space left on the USB drive. I shall back up all my picture files with this drive. The price difference between a USB 3.0 drive and a USB 2.0 one is small. So it is advisable to buy the USB 3.0 now.

dual ended with plenty of space!

The PNY duo link OTG drive is so helpful to have when you love to take a lot of pictures, videos, or save documents for work or school and you need a safe place to store them all, and to make room on your phone or tablet. I have to store a lot on my tablet and constantly running out of room, and this device frees up space and being that it's dual ended, I can easily transfer all my files from my tablet to my laptop or just keep it stored on the drive. This is something everyone needs to have on hand and I highly recommend it! I received this product from the spark reviewer program for my honest opinion and review!!
