20 Years later oven is far superior!

We replaced our 20 year old DCS model with the updated Fisher Paykel model. We are so impressed with the improvements including much greater options for oven settings and better control of the heat output of the cooktop. This is a far superior model than the original!

Power Outage

I was so excited to get my new range. I had used it twice, then we had a power outage. The range no longer was working so we made a service call. 2 weeks later, when service came out, it started right up, without him doing anything. The technician said when there is a power outage, the "brain" needs to reset. Our second power outage was 2 1/2 weeks ago, and the "brain" has still not reset. Had I known this was an issue, I would have not have purchased this product. We live in an area with frequent outages, so I have this beautiful range, that I cannot use as often as I like.
