The AIMS 1500 watt modified sine power inverter with built in charger and transfer switch is designed to meet your back up or mobile power inverter needs. The unit is a 1500 watt power inverter, with a 12 volt dc input. This inverter charger has a built in transfer switch which allows you to plug this inverter into a regular ac outlet in your home, when the power goes out, this power inverter automatically switches to run off of your battery bank. The charger which is built into this power inverter outputs 10 dc amps of regulated charge to keep your batteries full, so when the power goes out they are ready to supply power to this back up power inverter. The most common use for this modified sine inverter charger is to back up sump pumps in your basement. This unit is built to last and has been designed with sump pumps in mind. AIMS power has produced this unit for nearly a decade and it is a very high quality power inverter charger. If you are looking for a more powerful inverter charger, we have 3000 watt inverter chargers available in both pure sine and modified sine.
