Our four-year-old daughter loves these sandals. She was so excited to put them on as soon as they arrived, and they are her new favorite footwear. She says they are very comfortable--the soles seem to made out of a similar (or maybe the same) material as flip flop soles, so it's a nice firm comfortable wear. It does mean that they might not stand up so well acting as brakes for a trike, but kids outgrow shoes pretty quickly anyway. Seems to be true to size. I couldn't figure out why they are called clog sandals, though, as the soles really aren't very thick--around 1/2 - 3/4", no thicker than other sandals we have, and, in fact, slightly thinner. Not a big deal for us.
The straps are adjustable both over the top of the ankle and behind the ankle, so if you have found it hard to find sandals that fit your child for whatever reason, these just may help. It might also mean your little one struggles just a hair more putting them on since there are twice as many straps as usual in the equation, but our daughter has figured them out pretty quickly. The strap that goes from the ankle towards the toes is off center, which gives a slightly different look to the sandals. I like it.
While not super high quality, they look great and will function just fine for any girl. They also seem like they wouldn't mind getting wet, though that's not something we would encounter much where we live. Good for the beach as well as anywhere else! The rainbow pattern also means they are likely to match so many outfits. I highly recommend them.
