This is the safest and easiest product I have ever used to correctly measure and uniform mark firewood for a wood stove. This is the second model I have purchased, and they made a small but helpful improvement by putting a wing nut on the bolt that goes through the measuring wheel. This allows tightening the wheel when not in use to prevent an accidental discharge of paint (by locking the wheel in place).
