The Accumulair Diamond is one of the highest efficiency filters on the market. With a MERV 13 rating, this filter removes particulates measuring from 0.3 microns to 1.0 microns. It effectively eliminates dust mites, mold spores, pet dander, pollen, tobacco smoke, some viruses, and all bacteria. The filter uses electrostatic filtration with a special synthetic filter media to attract particles. With a dust spot efficiency of 89-90%, it is more than 30 times more efficient than regular fiberglass filters and almost equivalent to a true HEPA filter.

The pleated shape maximizes air flow and particle-holding capacity. The filter is constructed with a recyclable, galvanized, and corrosion resistant metal backing laminated to the pleated media. The two-piece die cut frame is heavy duty, moisture resistant, and clay coated with diagonal and horizontal grid supports.
