Direct replacement for my 10-year old one that may or may not have been leaking. The old one worked well and heated up surprisingly fast. Has a steel tank and a sacrificial anode that you have to replace occasionally, for me every 3 years. If you don't want to do that, get the aluminum tank one. Weird that it doesn't have the usual outside metal flange that seals to the rv siding, but I used some foil-backed butyl tape to do that. Then of course butyl tape to seal the door frame and caulk on the outside and inside. Note the door isn't included, even though it's in the picture.
