I found a recipe that called for a vanilla bean, since i was doing a large quantity and vanilla beans were very expensive i researched and heard about vanilla bean paste. I used this product and was amazed at the flavor you get from this paste, you use it just as regular vanilla extract if it calls for 1 tsp. you use 1 tsp. Also you get the little vanilla bean pieces that show in your frosting and vanilla cakes that makes it extra special. This was definitely a great choice...
