Grafton Writing Desk, Black Oak

Assembly of this desk was quite easy. I love that it's corners are square & not round. It lines up great with the wall. & unlike the rounded corners, things can't fall off on the side that's against he wall. I like the rectangular shape. It's like the perfect size for me. It's not too big or not too small. The black sleek color catches my eye. The black finish is so smooth & sleek. & I love how the grey draw rolls out & stand out against the black color on the desk. Great combination of colors. I love that the drawer doesn't have a handle. I don't have to deal with broken handles in the future. Instead it has opening carved out for you to open the drawer. The open compartment in the desk next to the drawer is deep. If feels like it goes from the front of the desk to the back of the wall. I can put my whole laptop in it & it's not visible. Very spacious too. I'm not sure what material the legs are made out of, but they are very stable & strong. The leg space under the desk is roomy. My legs aren't cramped or hitting up against the desk as I slide back and forth underneath my desk. So the height is just right. Because it's not to tall either, even though it provides great leg space. Plenty of space left after lining item up across the top back part of the desk. There is still enough room to write comfortably. Or use my laptop. I'm very happy with my desk! I have nothing bad to say about it.

I am in love with this desk!! Perfect for my work from home needs! Took about 30mins to put together with no issues. Very sturdy and well made. The little drawer is a great add for pencils/pens and small items. Well worth the money spent. Highly recommend.
