Laces take a little patience in getting them installed Read directions on clip attachment first.... I wreaked mine right out of the box as I assumed how to separate everything having seen the picture. But, I really love how I can customize the lace fit for my wide toes and narrow arch. Shoes fit the same now for every run. The laces stay steady and don't chance or come undone in wet conditions.

Flexibility

These ties give your feet flexibility. You can leave them loose to allow less compression especially when sitting for long periods. Or you can tighten them if you are more mobile. My feet don't like being constrained especially when I am sitting. These ties allow me to easily adjust the tension while still maintaining some fit. I have them on all my athletic shoes.
