nuLOOM Penelope Braided Wool Area Rug, 2' 6" x 6', Runner, Penelope Light Grey

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been looking for a good white textured rug for a while when I finally came across this one, I instantly loved it and couldn't believe the amazing price, but it was on backorder for a month. I bought it anyway and glad I waited! I've had it for a few weeks now and so far so good! It has beautiful texture, feels well made, and is super soft! Haven't experienced a ton of shedding either, but I knew I wanted wool so I don't mind a few pieces of fuzz here and there occasionally.

It does shed but I do not think it is crazy and it will let up with time. I’m a home designer, stager. We use this rug all the time. It reminds me of my favorite warm, cozy cable knit sweater. It is soft, like walking on clouds. In this time of Covid, it adds a calming and comforting element to your home. I love the ivory! If you are hesitant, buy the $50, 5 year insurance plan. You can return if unable to remove a stain. But it is wool and cotton blend which I find is much easier to clean than a natural fiber rug like a tencel or viscose. I have not had good experience with these. All that said, my kids are now 16 and 22. My dogs are well trained, hypoallergenic, non-shedding and small. Consequently, I do not have as much concern over stains and cleaning this rug. I did purchase the felt rug pad. It was larger than the rug despite both being 10 x 14. The rug does need stretched a bit after folding from shipping. I trimmed the pad a bit to make it work. I like that it makes for more cushion. I also purchased the spray bottle cleaner but have not had to use yet!
