I decided to buy one for my family room, but this mini version could do what I need for less money. The setup is easy after install the Broadlink app, which aso has helpful documentation links.

The instructions were in the package, but after several try's to setup I got frustrated. The probe might have been it was replacing logic tech harmony remote which was a different class of product. I basically gave it away to friend who was always asking for AA batteries for her remote. I not heard if she got it setup or not. It became a nice gift
