Just like the ones in the 60's
Just like the ones in the 60's. Lamp was shipped incredibly fast. Everything was packed very well. Took out of the box and assembled per instructions. After being on for about 1.5 hours, the lava started doing it's thing. One word of caution about this lamp. The base gets very hot. So, I wouldn't recommend leaving it on for long periods unattended or using it by something that can catch fire (curtains, carpet, etc).. Peace

So Cloudy You Can't Enjoy!
The black wax, lava, can not be seen through cloudy purple liquid it is suspended in. It's so cloudy that you can't not even see any light trying to escape through the jar. If you take out all the 3 to 4 star ratings it is 50/50 mixed ratings being in the one star side. It is sad because this would have been excellent product should it have worked properly. I love lava lamps was ready to purchase more but I have reconsidered and will not purchase again or recommend. I hope the Seller, and or the manufacturer Schylling to make this right ! Wal-Mart do let this seller or manufacturer make you into a “Shcyll”!
