Perfect

We decided to "finish" our basement, but not in the traditional sense. At one time, we had a crack in one of the basement walls. It was fixed, but I didn't want sheetrock over the walls in case it happened again. I also didn't want to sheetrock the ceiling since there have been several times that we needed to run new wire. So we decided to paint the ceiling black, paint the cement walls, and epoxy the floor for a fairly maintenance free basement. Since it wasn't finished in a traditional sense, I wanted to dress it up. The styrofoam crown molding allowed us to do just that. And easily. I love the way it turned out.
