2012 release from the German Progressive Thrash Metal band, a collection of older tracks rerecorded with their current line-up. Mekong Delta, founded in the '80s by producer and bass player Ralf Hubert, features unconventional and always high technical Thrash Metal whose list of former members include the likes of Jörg Michael (Stratovarius) and Uli Kusch (ex-Helloween). Outstanding and critically acclaimed albums like the Music of Erich Zann, Dances of Death and their last release Wanderer on the Edge of Time were considered to be milestones of the genre. At their latest live-gigs the current line-up of the band proves that they are not only able to perform the classics, they are now pushing the limits even further and with a modern sound they are making clear, that the music of Mekong Delta is timeless.
