Attorney General, U.S. Senator, candidate for President, Robert Francis Kennedy, some say, was destined to follow in his brother's footsteps. He was born in Boston. Among his siblings were John F. Kennedy and Edward Kennedy. Received his law degree at the University of Virginia Law School and was admitted to the Massachusetts State Bar. Became an attorney with the Justice Department's criminal division in 1951. Bobby managed JFK's campaign for election to the U.S. Senate, became Attorney General in his brother's administration and served as New York Senator from 1965 until his assassination on June 6, 1968.
